Grove Construction (London) Ltd. is a privately owned contractor based in Maidenhead, established in 2010 with experience in all sectors of construction and the ability to manage a variety of complex projects.

Our company provides quality-led construction solutions for all our projects throughout London, the South East, the South West and Home Counties. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with clients and suppliers, as well as our transparent approach bringing peace of mind to all parties involved.

James Corcoran

Managing Director

James’s extensive experience with private sector airport developments and commercial buildings led him to create Grove Construction in 2010. With a deep understanding of the construction industry, James strategically leads the business by setting long-term goals, analysing market trends, identifying opportunities, and making key decisions to steer the company towards success.

James takes on several crucial responsibilities that demand flawless execution on a daily basis. This ensures that all development projects are delivered to the highest standards and that critical decisions are made in a timely manner.

Rahul Hajare

Head of Finance

Rahul graduated from Bournemouth University in 2009 with a degree in Accounting and Finance and Pursued ACCA qualifying in 2012. Since then, he has gained over 15 years of experience in the property development and construction sector. As the Head of Finance at Grove, Rahul oversees all financial activities and collaborates closely with other members of the leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies. His key responsibilities include financial planning, risk management, and financial reporting, with a focus on deal structuring and project monitoring to ensure timely and within-budget.

Alan Thatcher

Commercial Director

As a Commercial Director Alan brings a wealth of knowledge to the table with 40+ years in the industry and 6 years at Grove Construction. He has played a crucial role in delivering multiple large-scale development and conversion projects across various sectors. Alan's primary responsibilities include overseeing the financial position and performance, as well as reporting project profitability regardless of size. This involves managing budgets, controlling costs, identifying savings, and ensuring optimal outcomes for our client's revenue streams while handling bids and tender packages for future projects.

Mike Guard

Development Manager & New Business

Mike brings over a decade’s worth experience having worked with a variety of national residential house builders and smaller bespoke SMEs, mainly focusing on high-end residential properties across the Home Counties and Surrey.

As the head of new business development, Mike has a wide range of primary responsibilities. These include reporting project profitability, sourcing new business, and managing bids and tender packages for upcoming projects. He is also in charge of finding new land opportunities, obtaining Planning Permissions, and maximising asset value, with a particular emphasis on the entire schematic design and master planning process. Furthermore, he supervises the development of planning programmes, financial viabilities, and document preparation for contracts.

Anthony Sanford

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Anthony's Role as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor makes him responsible for coordinating critical information and managing various technical aspects. He works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to specifications. Anthony's primary responsibilities include cost estimation, analyzing contractor bids, and monitors project costs against the budget, identifying potential cost overruns, and works to mitigate them.

We are CHAS accredited and Construction Line certified and approved.
